Small files, doing small jobs.
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser so it can remember things — that you're signed in, what you put in a cart, which pages are popular. Some are set by us, some by services we use.

WHAT WE USE
Two kinds. Not three.
Essential cookies make the site work: keeping you signed in, holding a booking form's contents while you fill it out, remembering your light or dark mode preference, and basic security. The site can't function without them, so they don't require consent.
Analytics cookies tell us which pages people read, which recipes get cooked, and where the site is confusing. We look at patterns across visitors, not at individuals, and we don't use analytics to build advertising profiles.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies. We don't follow you around the internet after you leave, and we don't sell or share information about your visit with advertising networks.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The short list.
Some pages rely on outside services that may set their own cookies — our website platform, payment processing when you buy something, and embedded video where a page contains it. Embedded video is served in privacy-enhanced mode so it sets no advertising cookies.
Those services and their own policies govern what they do.
YOUR CHOICES
You're in control of all of it.
Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block future ones. Look under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking essential cookies will break parts of the site — sign-in in particular.
You can also turn on Global Privacy Control in a supported browser. We honor it.
We'll post updates here with a new effective date. If we ever add advertising cookies, we'll add a consent banner before we set a single one — not after.
